Painting Done
I‘m calling it a painting. I had been planning to smooth it out a bit, but the crudeness sort of grew on me.
Now I just need to figure out a frame.
Here is the painting framed and in situ.

My wife noticed this in the family archives.
Motorcycle racing in Lilliput.
Here’s an RC multicopter big enough to ride on!

I like it!
How about a brushed aluminium type frame? I think it’ll look nice with the colours.
I love it. Will be watching for pics of the frame you choose.

It looks good, but it looks very paint-by-numbers. I think you could push it further.
Thanks Daniel –
Yeah, I know. I probably could. But my stuff is admittedly more craft than art, and even the craftsmanship can be suspect at times. :)

You captured the smiles and twinkling eyes. :)
Ah, here it is. I just posted asking for a full frame photo of the painting. You Flickr post links to your previous post.
Very nice. I’m trying to think of a photo I should try this with.
Hi, I like what you’ve done here.
I think that you’ve accidentally removed some of the charming impish character of the boy on the right by changing his gaze to be straight into the camera as opposed to the original (and also adding highlights). Eyes are always the hardest part I think.
Nice work and it looks great in your livingroom.
Took me ages to find this post, this time I’ll bookmark it.
