Incredible. Please post all the tracks and scan all the instructional material. I’ll be forever grateful if you do.

  2. Steve Says:

    Hey Mark,

    Will do. Done.

  3. Mark Frauenfelder Says:

You are the best, Steve! Thanks so much!

  4. Will Says:

I actually had one of these. Then I heard Hendrix and the ventures went to the dust bin. Ended up too high to play anything at all!

  5. Jack W. Says:

A great album. I found the complete history of these fantastic albums on the internet, a great story and it has all background information about t he Guitar Phonics artists and the bio of the creater.

These albums were very popular in the 1960s. Over 600,000 were sold!

    Thanks! This is really cool.

On the subject of learning guitar technique, I’ve been going through the Xbox Rock Band 3 lessons for “Pro Guitar” using their new guitar that has 6 buttons per fret and strings (basically the modern version of this concept).

I’d blown off the idea of music-based games because it was like playing “simon says” + rhythm — but Rock Band 3 with the pro guitar is basically cheap guitar lessons…that immediately cross over to a real guitar.

    Cheers,
    Timothy
